CHICKEN CHAAT CANAPES
Description :
A spicy take on Chicken salad and a great looking appetizer for parties! Served cold.

15-20 min
You will need :
1 fillet of boneless chicken cut in thin, short strips or diced, 0.5 cucumber, finely diced, 0.5 medium-large tomato, finely diced, Fresh coriander, finely chopped, Chaat Masala, Lemon juice, Delhi’s Green Chutney by Chaat House, Punjabi Puri by Chaat House (Indian crisps/canapé bases)
Method :
Boil the chicken in salt water until tenderly cooked. While chicken is boiling, finely dice tomato, cucumber and coriander. Add in two tablespoons of lemon juice and sprinkle two teaspoons of Chaat Masala. Mix all ingredients well so that the Chaat Masala coats everything. Once the chicken has boiled, drain the water, leaving the chicken strips to dry. Add lemon juice and a couple of teaspoons of Chaat Masala into chicken. Rub the Chaat Masala well into the chicken. Once the chicken is cool, mix with the diced vegetables. Taste and continue to add lemon juice and Chaat Masala until you have the desired tangy taste. Lay out the Canape bases and put a serving of Chicken Chaat on each base. Garnish with Delhi’s Green Chutney and serve on a platter.
Tip :
If you’re lucky enough to have any leftovers, toast a soft bun and fill with the Chicken Chaat and Delhi’s Green Chutney for lunch the next day!
